Doubling will start from Mahboobnagar end in another 6 months, tenders called for. It will take 18-36 months for entire section completion. No news of extention as of now.
like electrification they may divide into 3 parts....mbnr - gadwal, dhone - kurnool, kurnool - gadwal...i hope
Ideally the line should be divided into 4 packages of 30-50km based on the section but they choose to tender for 14 km section only.

हां हुआ है । बिल्कुल लोग आदत से लाचार हो गए हैं । इन्हें सुधारने के लिए रेलवे को कड़ा रुख लेना होगा। लेकिन क्या कहा जाए इसको बढ़ाने में रेलवे भी काम जिम्मेवार नहीं है।
Sahi bat hai Ara Sasaram Route par 90 percent log ticket nhi lete hai. Is route par hamesha checking honi chahiye taki railway ko nuksan na ho.

No need tbh. Rather speed up of the train would be much better. Khagraghat Road is for Behrampore. Behrampore and Murshidabad can be better served with a direct EMU service from BPC to AZ, just like NH-BDC locals. People can then easily access these trains from AZ. Giving extra stops is what starts degradation of a train, since everyone else too would start demanding for stops in their constituency.
Atleast KGLE is deserving but still many Behrampore people come to Farakka to catch trains towards NJP but they will have to depend on other trains
Hope that ECoR doesn't extend the special train any more. 12832/31 should be resumed on the slot of 02832/31 daily and the special train service should be diverted via BAQ-KGP-JJKR and extended upto PURI.
That is what I am saying. They can run MEMU/Passenger from BPC for Behrampore passengers. Even NFK-BPC MEMU can be tried, surely would have good patronage. NFK mainly attracts north bound passengers since they can catch many trains coming from NFR. 2 new pfs at NFK would get the work done.
