What I honestly feel is that CBE SBC requires a dedicated overnight train. Thats what passengers have been demanding for ages. Not Uday or VB. Uday didnt get the expected patronage the reason why 2S coaches were augmented. IR should keep this in mind while introducing VB.

They rerouted Kongu via JTJ. DPJ, HSRA lost the sole connection to NDLS. SR has got many misplaced priorities. IMO the ONT must be via DPJ, HSRA. It is one of the most underutilized route. Now with doubling in progress, IR should start SMVT CBE ONT express ASAP. Regular passengers cant rely on that LTT CBE train.

First IR should introduce trains between MAS and DPJ/HSRA/TNM,etc. In the 160+ year history of IR, the zonal railway has not even bothered to introduce a passenger train to connect these places.

They could have shifted it to SMVT. Its a weekly train. Shouldn't be a problem.

I dont think it should be a problem. ERS intercity takes 6hrs 50 mins approx. So VB can do it in 6 hrs.
