If u have to book any retiring room in particular station in advance u have to write a letter to DCM(Deputy Comissioner) of that particular Railway branch and city stating you want to block a retiring room for this much hours..
Eg: If you have train from Bangalore to Delhi say tomoro evening and u need room till tomoro evening then you have to write letter to DCM of SWR regarding blocking of retiring room.

As per my knowledge there is not advance booking of any retiring rooms.. it is first come first served basis

Sir if u want to book a room in advance u should do above. I came to know because i am travelling to chennai so i required a room for 12 hrs. So they said if you want to book a room write a letter to DCM and book the room in advance.
