In case VSKP-LTT express is running late, this train will keep trailing it for a long time and will eventually get delayed itself
Observed on 06th may, 2015 when VSKP-LTT was running around 40 minutes late.
keep this in mind before planning any connecting service Pune onwards.

konark and VSKP LTT leaves secunderabad to/ for mumbai via pune at 1145 and 1310 hours respectively everyday.. and reaches pune at 1140 and 0055 respectively.. whereas shatabdi starts at 1440 and reaches at sharp 2310 hours.... its such a great train.. and reservation are availabe easily .. one can plan by the train at eleventh hour also..

For the First time I fell that the Food Given by the IRCTC Members is not sufficient. Although the Ticket price is too high and the catering is not soo happy.

For people who want to travel to Mumbai from Hyderabad, but are unable to do so because of WL in all the trains, can do so by traveling till Pune by Secunderabad-Pune Shatabdi and then take a taxi/volvo/some other train to Mumbai. The train is always almost on time. Volvo services are available from right outside Pune station. Tatkal is almost always available (except during weekends & festive seasons). Food is good too.
