ECoR to run 20 pairs of summer special trains

Shalimar, Nizamuddin, Bhubaneswar, Yesvantpur, Surat, Brahmapur, Sambalpur, Pune, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, Kollam, Kurnool, Chennai, Dhanbad, Patna, Bhanjapur, Ernakulam, Cuttack, Secunderabad, Tirupati, Bengaluru, Dibrugarh, Agartala, Santragachi, Nagercoil, Kochuvelli, Kharagpur, Malda Town, Mysore, Muzaffarpur, New Tinsukia, and Howrah. In addition to these 20 pairs, another 13 pairs of long-distance special trains are already running through the ECoR jurisdiction.

It will depart Kollam at 7:35 PM and reach Renigunta at 11:55 AM the next day. It will depart Renigunta at 12:00 PM and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 11:20 PM. These special trains will halt at various stations including Duvvada, Samarlakota, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Podanur, Palakkad, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, and Mavelikara. These trains offer various classes including AC Second, AC Third, Sleeper, General Second Class, and Second Class cum Luggage coach. Booking for these special trains has commenced. This train service will be a convenient option for people travelling from Visakhapatnam to Tirupati during the summer holidays.

Bhubaneswar-Yelahanka (02811) will operate from today until May 25th, departing Bhubaneswar at 7:15 PM every Saturday, reaching Duvvada at 1:53 AM and departing again at 1:55 AM. Yelahanka-Bhubaneswar (02812) will operate from May 15th to May 27th, departing Yelahanka at 5:00 AM every Monday and arriving in Duvvada at 4:30 AM the next day, departing again at 4:32 AM. Howrah-Yashvantpur (02863) AC train will be available from May 18th to June 27th, departing Howrah at 12:40 PM on Thursday and reaching Duvvada at 2:43 AM the next day, departing again at 2:45 AM. Yashvantpur-Howrah (02864) will run every Saturday from May 20th to 29th, departing Yashvantpur at 5:00 AM and arriving in Duvvada at 11:05 PM, departing again at 11:07 PM.
