SOY-NIR is 68kms and NIR-BTC is 76 kms so these much kms BGwork is going on and after yesterdays RM visit these works pace will boost and we can expect NIR BG connection from SOY till JAN 2017 and BTC BG connection by march 2018 as mentioned by RM

क्या एक्साइटमेंट, क्या जोश था 18 Oct 2016 को जब जबलपुर सुकरी मंगेला पैसेंजर के रूप मे इस रूट में ब्रॉडगेज के रूप मे शुरू हुई और उस समय में भी ये आशा थी कि जबलपुर गोंदिया ब्रॉडगेज जल्द से जल्द पूरा होगा । लेखिन कितने सोचा था जिस जबलपुर गोंदिया ब्रॉडगेज रूट को लेकर इतना एक्साइटमेंट था आज उसी रूट ने इतना बड़ा धोका दिया।
रेलवे शुरू शुरू मे कहा रहा था की इस रूट के हो जाने से उत्तर से दक्षिण की दूरी कम होगी , उस टाइम पे रेलवे को कोई प्राब्लम नही दिख रहा था। और जब आज पूरा हो चुका है तो अब रेलवे को हर तरह का टेक्निकल प्रोब्लम दिख रहा है, पहले क्यों नही सोचा...

ha agar kaam sahi gati se hoga to jarur possible hai waise iss inaugration k pehle hi SECR ne apne engineers ko SOY-NIR tak jaldi kaam niptane k nirdesh de diye hai or hope ki DEC 2016 tak hum SOY-NIR new line ko pura hoke dekh sakte hai

Good to see SECR GM is taking spl interest in completing JBP-BTC BG project soon and as part of his inspection GM and other oficls of SECR visited SOY and inspected SOY-NIR BG works and GM sply said to Ofcls that unlike delay in opening of JBP-SOY BG line there shud not be any delay shud happen to complete work on SOY-NIR BG section and Work shud be completed with March 2017 anyhows including works of stn. and surrounding areas and every months the progress report shud be submitted...

Finally, the ice has been broken! The wait is over! Proud moment for the people of JBP, WCR & SECR as the broad gauge passenger train service has started from JBP to SOY till eternity. Huge crowd gathered at GRG to witness the chug of R alco towing the inaugural special. Around 170 tickets were sold at the ticket counter as told by the clerk. The whole rolling stock belonged to SECR.
Also, the whole KEQ-SOY section is equipped with Solid State Interlocking. Axle counters can also be seen in the panel room. So, SECR is giving full priority to the safety aspect. Plasser machines still plying around. But, the platfroms are still in crude state and the approach road is still...

Good to see the historical first run pics and VDO of JBP-SOY train and now things will get better day by day for JBP-BTC section and i think good pace of work will be going on after SOY also to connect NIR to new BG also and hopefully by DEC 2016/Jan 2017 we can see the extension of this train soon
