New Aurangabad - Ahmednagar railway line is likely to get momentum now. As informed by MoS Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad, instead of constructing entire Pune to Aurangabad line, IR observed that only Aurangabad to Ahmednagar line is more economical and beneficial. Daund to Manmad doubling is undergoing and bypass at Daund is operational now. If railway needs to construct new A'nagar Pune line, the cost of land acquisition will make project uneconomical besides, it will anyways not be possible to directly connect to Pune Jn. Additionally, IR is also eying on freight traffic which it will get on existing alignment. Thus, only Aurangabad to Ahmednagar new line will get push. 👍🙂

Hello sir how is the work going on from ashti to beed when does track lay on beed ?
Last I heard was, tenders were floated for the construction of station buildings and also for track laying. I think track laying is going but very slowly. Central govt has recently released 100 cr rupees and state govt around 70 cr. hope work speed will peak up now. The politics between state and center and lethargy by babus really delaying this work.

Maha Industries Minister Mr. Anil Desai told to journalist that Aurangabad Ahmednagar new railway line is crucial for the connectivity between Aurangabad and Pune being big industrial cities. Hence state govt will push for this project and also ready to fund it. Detailed presentation will be done in front of CM Thackeray. 👍

लक्सरी बस के किराये काफी बढ़ गए , इसलिए इस गाड़ी को नांदेड़ से रात्रि ९.३० pm की जगह ७ pm को चलाने से यह औरंगाबाद ११ pm के आस पास आएगी और यह पुणे सुबह ७ बजे पहुंच जाएगी
