Yes, the 3rd DEMU you said, had no protection at all. The grills were simply slits that's all... the whole thing was a glass-type material. Stone throw away from the whole thing breaking. Just a metallic bar place vertically in the middle.
This window too was the same window (both DEMUs were 2015 manufactured ones) but with a grill sealed from outside.

- one passenger,
- one 4 times a week night train,
- two tri-weekly ICEs,
- one daily long distance train.
- Some specials for a section of the line, during festive occasions.
SMET - HAS - SBGA and YPR - SBGA.

2. Bidar - Kalaburagi :
- It got a two times a day for 6 days a week DEMU at the time of inauguration.
Then nothing else..... Not even that DEMU was made daily.
