Why they need indirect halt when they can have direct halt at Nellore? Maximum pass are at Nellore na.. Gudur halt might be for some other reasons I think not commercial one.. They have to give halt at Nellore and ongole both are deserving halts for at least 1 min at ongole

Han that might be the main reason which is zone interchange point where trains get usual halt same like hotgi jn where trains coming from Bijapur side halt where as GR side skip it..
