TN-06595 YPR-DHL DEMU SPECIAL WILL BE REVISED IN TIMINGS FROM 23.09.2019 TO AVOID CONGESTION AT YPR.

Jayashree^ 56043 blog postsThe proposal for continuation of extension of services of T.no 06595/06596 YPR -DHL-YPR DEMU special up to CBP is not approved. Hence with effect from 19.08.19 the services of T.no 06595/06596 DEMU will run between YPR-DHL-YPR only.
Election Over. Game over. Again will see Chikkaballapur station as Termination point, once Election comes. Till then bye.

Extension or not, this is one train that runs empty.

They know its fate. Last time also it was Poor patronage & reverted back to Devanahalli. The timings doesn't set people to travel towards Chikballapur at that time & Second issue is Originating/Terminating point being YPR. If it was SBC, Some could have taken. So people will travel on buses only.
This is run just for the sake of being intro during a budget. 2 DEMUs came. That NMGA they quickly cut losses and ran railbus. This they are stuck with.
My Question - Why IR not interested in Railbus concept for running in such sections ? Lot of Fuel savings can be achieved. No need of PF's at big stations, just allow at some sidings with low level PF's. Atleast few will take, No need to say Poor Patronage - 8 Coach DEMU, only 10-15 takers.

The YPR-CBP Special Passenger 06595/96 is not cancelled as per the info in IRI. I'm attaching the snapshot from trainenquiry.com, which shows that the train is in services till today (25 Mar 2017).
It is requested that the status of 06595/95 may please be updated in IRI
