The Rajdhani Express (20503) from Dibrugarh to New Delhi, which was scheduled to arrive at around 6:25 pm on Monday, reached behind the Samastipur station, where some youths present there pelted stones on the train, injuring some passengers. One passenger was seriously injured when he was hit on the head. The injured passenger's name is Santosh Kshetri. The medical team also provided treatment to the passenger inside the train. Santosh Kshetri was traveling in berth number 66 of the train. The medical team reached there and provided treatment to him. Because of this, the Rajdhani Express was delayed by 19 minutes. Meanwhile, quick action was taken by the RPF regarding the incident. In this case, RPF has taken four suspected stone-pelters into custody. They are being questioned after receiving medical treatment at the railway hospital.
