hello, doston, maine is gaadi ka AC3 tier ka 'WL/6'- 10-nov-2009 ke liye DELHI SARAI ROHILA to BANDRA TERMINUS tak ka ticket kharida tha, chart banane se pahele iska status "CONFIRM" bataa raha tha, jaise 10/11/2009 ko iska chart prepared hua, toh iska status "WL/14" ho gaya, main hairaan ho gaya k yeh kya hua, pahle WL/6 phir WL/14.. maine customer care se baat ki unhone yeh kahaa ki apne pahle se Waiting 14 number liya hai, jabki mere paas iski ek soft copy bhi hai, maine 139 par bhi phone lagayaa uspar bhi waiting 14 tha ...

I am reading this type of case first time, as you said you have soft copy of it, you should file a case with consumer court.

It is heard very rarely but it is true.
Once I had experienced that out of 4 ticket, 2 were shown confirmed while 2 were there at RAC 1 & 2 in the evening before the journey day. Yet on charting, all 4 were in RAC. But I did not have any proof because 'all RAC' was also a bettered status than what was there at the time of booking (Waitlisted).
