पूजा को ले रेल यात्रियों की भीड़ को देखते हुए पूर्व मध्य रेल द्वारा नवगछिया के रास्ते 03164 डाउन सहरसा से हावड़ा और 03163 अप हावड़ा से सहरसा के बीच पूजा स्पेशल ट्रेन चलाने का निर्णय लिया गया है।
यह ट्रेन हावड़ा से रात्रि 10:30 बजे प्रस्थान करेगी। जो अगले दिन सुबह कटिहार होते हुए 8 बज के 38 मिनट में नवगछिया और 11:45 में सहरसा पहुंचेगी। यही ट्रेन पुनः वापस सहरसा से दोपहर 2:10 पर खुल कर 4:28 में नवगछिया पहुंचेगी।
यहां से खुलने के बाद अगले दिन प्रातः 4:50 में हावड़ा स्टेशन पहुंच जाएगी। रेल सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार यह ट्रेन हावड़ा से मंगलवार, गुरुवार और शनिवार को खुलेगी वहीं सहरसा से बुधवार, शुक्रवार और रविवार को खुलेगी। इस पूजा स्पेशल ट्रेन में दो ब्रेक भान, छह सामान्य यात्री कोच के अलावा 6 स्लीपर कोच और एक एसी थ्री टायर कुल 15 कोच शामिल होंगे।
