new line to be laid between takkolam-arakkonam. as u aware because of rajali air base station near arrakonam, takkolam-ajj electrfiication was not completed. so they start to lay new line between takkolam-ajj, but the progress was very slow till now. because of this still cgl-ajj passenger , tpty-pdy pasenger, ncj-mumbai biweekly and madurai-lokamanya tilak weekly express all hauled by diesel loco. i hope the new line should complete asap.
