Irshad13~ 8102 blog postsToday this passenger had two OT first overtaken by Mumbai CSMT Gadag Exp and later OT by Solapur Hubli Intercity Exp both at Bagalkot jn.
This train is just time pass, not useful for end to end, not even for those who are travelling beyond Bgk
Fills up. All the small station passengers where that ICE and CSMT train doesn't stop - for them this is the train.

Irshad13~ 8102 blog postsThe TT of this train is so worst and false by NTES which shows lot of fools sitting in NTES to provide such TT. Train takes more than 1 hour for 14km between Hombal and Gadag and same between Kusugal to Hubli showing making OT of SUR UBL intercity Exp. Dont know when this stupid NTES is get improved...

Even I have few doubts, where is the platform to board train from this station ? and does passengers have to climb first floor to get tickets, inquiry, water, etc.
I suppose there is a Platform at Opposite End... See Station Page... There is a Station Board Pic on some High Level (may be Platform)..
Yeah i hope they didn't demolished the old halt pf, which can be used.
Yes the old halt is still their this elevated station is just for NTPC diversion line where line enters power plant. This is Elevated one cause LA use to done which will be time consuming so to avoid that they construct this one as elevated one..
