It can't leave MAS before 8.45, since slots are not available. And since 12601 is also SF it will be running behind it, and since alepy goes to cbe, it can reach PGT by max only at 5.15. So maximum 15min ee sectionil trainu speed kutan patu... kerlatil kairiayl pinne stop thera ilatha kondu.. speed up cheyan oru chance ila :P

Absolutely. Should consider a 24 coach passenger train from ERS to ALLP @ 1800!
Same goes for 7.20 pass from allp..now ernad and dhn exp has some stops removed..the rush in that train will be scary..
AC-3 tier passengers have to shell out more compared to sleeper class. What amazing times nowadays for AC-3 tier travellers. First curtains removed, now with these trains being superfast, start paying more!!!

What are the chances that both will get confirmed? Also,if I book from Chennai, will there be any advantage?

Just few minutes before your reply, I booked in first AC from Chennai to Alleppey with boarding at Katpadi. Waiting list is WL1 & WL2. What are the chances of confirmation now?
