As per report published in News Paper IR is planning to increase average speed for all of the trains at least by 25 KMPH by the year of 2022. It will start from next year and every year speed will increase by 5 KMPH, resulting a total of 25 KMPH by 2022. How much feasible do you think that is?

Instead, IR should concentrate on running all the trains on time. IR should seriously work on reducing the delay of trains. After achieving this, IR can then plan to increase the avg speed of the trains.
Simply increasing average speed in TT of train will not at all work. Trains with less priority will suffer more than today if its average speed is increased. The train which runs with average 2 hrs delay today will run with average 3 hrs delay after increasing the speed.

Possible but ppl support needed that unwanted chain pulling and tracks passing must not be done
Ok, but does IR really take care of those stuffs? I mean, they just declare a train as Superfast based on Time Table average speed, right?

Agra tak chal rahi hoti toh ek din band hi ho jaati just like Agra Jaipur Shatabdi Express, thanks to the right decision taken on Right time. People are no longer dependent on the useless Bhopal Shatabdi.
True. Tourist and Tourism agencies prioritise this train over Bhopal Shatabdi because of its better timings and better services
Still it's running on one of the fastest tracks on India. Speed upgrade upto 160 is under process between AGC and JHS.
3 trials and Surveys have already been made. They said revised timings will be applied on ZBTT

* Gatimaan & BPL Shatabdi should complement each other rather than compete with.
* Gatimaan should depart from Delhi at morning to facilitate the tourists esp foreign tourists to visit Agra and come back on the same day. And Shatabdi may depart at morning from Bhopal/HBJ.

If it departs from Bhopal at morning, then its importance would be lost. It was introduced mainly to cater to the tourists visiting Agra.
So, if Gatimaan is to be extended till BPL, then the current NDLS-BPL Shatabdi should leave BPL in morning.

It will help in attaining the real target of 90 min from new delhi to agra
And will also save almost 40-45 mins end to end
