NaagendraV 332 blog postsఈనాడు, అమరావతి: విజయవాడ రైల్వేస్టేషన్‌ నుంచి కొత్త ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్‌ రైళ్లను ఆరంభానికి అవసరమైన సౌకర్యాల కల్పనపై అధికారులు దృష్టి పెట్టారు. ఈమేరకు రూ.100 కోట్లతో విజయవాడలోని పాలఫ్యాక్టరీ సమీపంలో కొత్తగా రెండు పిట్‌ లైన్లు, ఒక స్టేబులింగ్‌ లైన్‌ నిర్మాణం శరవేగంగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. రైళ్ల రోజువారీ నిర్వహణ, సామర్థ్యం పర్యవేక్షణ, మరమ్మతులు చేసేందుకు పిట్‌, స్టేబులింగ్‌ లైన్లే కీలకం. ఇవి ఎక్కువ లేకనే విజయవాడ రైల్వేస్టేషన్‌ నుంచి ఇతర నగరాలకు కొత్త రైళ్లను ఆరంభించేందుకు ఇన్నాళ్లూ అవకాశం లేకపోయింది.రాష్ట్రంలోనే కీలకమైన విజయవాడ రైల్వేస్టేషన్‌ మీదుగా రోజు 200కు పైగా రైళ్లు... లక్ష మందిపైగా ప్రయాణికులు రాకపోకలు సాగిస్తున్నారు. కానీ.. ఇక్కడి నుంచి నిత్యం బయలుదేరి ఇతర నగరాలకు వెళ్లే ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్‌ రైళ్లు కేవలం అయిదే ఉన్నాయి. విజయవాడ నుంచి దేశంలోని ప్రధాన నగరాలకు ప్రయాణికుల రద్దీ ఎక్కువ ఉండడంతో కొత్త రైళ్లను ఆరంభించమని చాన్నాళ్లుగా వినతులు వస్తున్నాయి. కానీ.. రైళ్ల రోజువారీ నిర్వహణను చేపట్టే పిట్‌ లైన్లు ఇక్కడ తక్కువ ఉన్నాయి. విజయవాడ యార్డులో వేగన్‌ డిపో దగ్గర ఐదు పిట్‌లైన్లు, ఒక స్టేబులింగ్‌ లైన్‌ మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి. వీటిలో ఒక్కో పిట్‌, స్టేబులింగ్‌ లైన్‌లో రోజుకు నాలుగు రైళ్ల నిర్వహణను మాత్రమే చూసే వీలుంది. ఒక్కో రైలును పూర్తిగా పరీక్షించేందుకు కనీసం ఆరు గంటలు పిట్‌ లైన్‌లో ఉంచాలి.

Unna pitlines e వాడడం లేదు. ఇక కొత్తవి ఎందుకు నాకు అర్దం కాలేదు
as far as i know at present only 3 pitline are there to do the primary maintenance which support more than 20 coaches in vijayawada . remaining are older ones support below 15 coaches at a time. Do you have present pitline occupancy chart?
At present the trains maintained in BZA are BZA-GDR, BZA-LPI, BZA-MAS, BZA-SC, BZA-UBL(soon will be extended to NS(daily), bza-SNSi (soon will be extended to MTM) what other trains are there? Nothing much
Agree with you.as far as i know PM activities happening for some passenger trains(MEMU/DEMU) also in BZA. I'm not expecting new trains will start immediately based on past experience(nallapadu) . Pitlines construction completed at nallapadu long back but I don't see any new trains from Guntur till now. But i'm very curious about new train proposals from BZA..
