Damn, now I get why Indian Railways is losing money and I couldn't care less. I mean, these idiots at IR are making dumb decisions that just waste the hard work of our brilliant engineers, technical workers, and other employees. If this "Amrit Bharat" train is all they've got, why waste money on fancy trains with push-pull locomotives and fancy technology? An old rusty 90s ICF train with an electrical locomotive would do the job without any extra cost, and the railways would actually make some damn profits. This is just such a waste of resources, going deeper and deeper into the red. Just like those 3AC economy coaches, this ABT concept is gonna be a total flop if they don't make the most out of it. If the damn train can connect major railway stations/junctions without reversing the damn engine, they can avoid skipping the big junctions and use their acceleration and deceleration skills to have a faster schedule (at least an average speed of 65+). Plus, if they stop at many stations along the way and connect big stations on a single run, they'll attract more intermediate travelers and make some money. For example, if they start the Malda Town - SMVT AB train from Guwahati to Bengaluru, connecting Howrah/Santragachi with faster speeds, they'll get a hell lot of passengers. They can even increase the fares a bit more. I just hope that after launching a few more ABs, the railways realize that it's a damn loss and don't scrap the whole concept. With some changes, ABs can be a great thing for both travelers and the railways.

Weekly Amrit Bharat trains don't make any sense at all, right?
If they're really going to make 50 more AMRIT BHARATH trains and it's not just a promise for votes, Railways should run them DAILY instead of only having SF weekly trains. They can assign 4-5 trains to a specific route like Howrah-Chennai/Ernakulam and make them daily. In total, with these 50 trains, they can have 8-10 daily trains connecting East with North, South, West and vice versa. This can at least provide a 1% relief to reserved passengers and migrant workers.
Railways already has the data on this, so what's holding them back?
As the saying goes, "Better late than never" - Railways should use these trains better and even Jan Sadharan trains with ICF coaches can do the job.
