SaurabhDubey^~ 30323 blog postsजिस गति से भारतीय रेल्वे द्वारा memu/passenger train express में convert की जा रही हैं, जल्द ही 5xxxx/6xxxx series खाली हो जायेगी और 1xxxx series full हो जाएगी... यात्री गणों को लूटने की इस नवीन परियोजना की बदली परस्थितियों के अनुसार अब नयी numbering system की आवश्यकता है...Express trains का numbering अब 6 digit का किया जाना चाहिए... अन्य कोई भी सुझाव comment box में post करें

5 digit is still enough, as not only 1 series, 2 series is also used for Exp and SFExp. If required 3 and 4 can also be used for Exp and SFExp.
We have 8 and 9 series almost empty.
From 1 to 9 we have total 9 series. Any 2 series will be enough for Sub Urban EMU, 1 series for MEMU and one for DEMU, though DEMU will be almost gone in few years. And MEMU DEMU can share same series if required. For less than 200km there may...

Even the heavyweights are running delayed these days in secr and ser owing to heavy freight traffic volumes

From engine.. SLR, 2/3GS, SL-3, 3A-2, 2S-2, 3/2GS, HCPV-2, SLR. That much I can recall.. Only order of GS I was not able to note whether 2 or 3 at both ends.
Return train is supposed to run from 7th from ITR, how come I heard the announcement at CKP station today evening, as 18110 Itwari Tata Passenger is standing on PF-2. Yes they mentioned Passenger! But the number of the express. Are they sending the empty rake as passenger may be from ROU Or CKP itself?? For tomorrow's departure from Tata??
Finally got the order today..
