Grievance Description:
This grievance is regarding the halt of several ECoR SF trains at BADNERA Jn. (Central Railway) on Mumbai-Howrah route. Badnera Jn. is an important station for the citizens of Amravati district as it falls on the Mumbai-Nagpur-Howrah route. However several trains do not stop at Badnera Jn. The point to be considered here at, all the other trains which shares timetable with these non-halting trains on other trains halt at Badnera Jn and make profits as many citizens from this area are situated in metro cities for education and jobs. Thus, halting these trains at BADNERA Jn may benefit these citizens as well as to railways.

Request is to kindly check the probability of halting these trains at Badnera Jn and provide an EXPERIMENTAL HALT at this station.

Details: Badnera station is situated on Badnera – Bhusawal saturated section which is one of the Goods traffic sections of Bhusawal division. Halt to more trains will affect Goods operation movement. Hence, it is operationally not desirable to give halt to more trains at Badnera. At present, 10 daily, 2 four days a week, 5 tri-weekly, 9 bi-weekly, 14 weekly, 1 tri-weekly Fast Passenger and 11 daily passenger trains are halting at Badnera. Also, 22123/22124 Nagpur – Pune AC Express (weekly) have been announced in the Rail Budget 2014-15, with halt at Badnera.
