Due to some unavoidable circumstances, conversion of 22213/22214 Shalimar - Patna - Shalimar Duronto Express into LHB rakes from conventional rakes which was notified earlier has been cancelled. These trains will run with conventional coaches as usual.

22214 Patna-Shalimar Duronto crawling past Kamarkundu. It was overtaken by Vibhuti Express & was closely followed by Amritsar Mail (whose headlight seen in rear). Duronto is yet to receive 110kmph clearance over ER.

Duronto was being controlled for 3hrs for traffic block, while the other trains were mostly on time when block was lifted, Duronto being SER train & out of path got overtaken by on time running home zone trains of ER.

22214 Patna-Shalimar Duronto running late by 2 hrs. through Dn slow line following a local train. It was overtaken by Saraighat Exp, Jodhpur Exp & was about to be overtaken by Darjeeling Mail, all running on Dn fast line. All the trains were late due to power block & heavy fog in section.

Presence of 'reverse curve' at 90% of the platforms of dn hbc is the reason it is 110kmph only. Elimination of reverse curves would be somewhat difficult but not impossible at most sites.
