I request all the aspirants of COMEDK not to attend the exam.Because even if u secure a Good Rank,the Tution Fee here is Rs 1.25 Lakhs PA,whic is surely much more than any Private Engg Colleges in North India.Specially people from Bihar,Jharkhand,W.B. & Assam are the main aspirants of COMEDK.Though there are a very few colleges in the reamaining 3 states,you can head towards the Private Colleges in W.B by securing a Rank either in WBJEE/AIEEE.I certainly wont say that education is better in Kolkata compared to Bangalore,but given the exorbitant Tution Fees in Bangalore Colleges & the Uncertainty later in job market,if you're really interested in succesfully completeing ur B.E. within 4 years,please dont come to Karnataka.U can check about Tamil Nadu/Andhra Pradesh/Orissa also.While A.P & TN,I dont have any idea,Orissa Tution Fees are more or less same as W.B.If u're not doing it from any IIT/NIT's,then beleive me the...

Brand Value doesnt matter,only matters is ur Degree Certificate & your knowledge.
PS:-Again I would say Bangalore Engg Colleges would've been far better than those coleges,if the Karnataka State Govt considered the Outsiders a lil bit sympathetically.While CET Students pay only Rs 20000/- as Tution Fee in his whole Engineering Career,sitting in the same classroom,a Student from COMEDK/MQT Quota is paying Rs 5 Lakhs.(Hostel & Other Expenses Excluded).
