Moreover lines have too much curves making more turns and speed limits
No that's not the reason because From pune to Mumbai lot Ghat sections and curves it doesn't depend on such.. Even Bijapur Gadag route don't have such more curves only near Almatti area due to water reservoir line routing has some curves but remaining stretch is not that much curvy compared to Miraj pune or pune Mumbai route..
Yes I agree but low speed of this Bijapur gadag section is not due to curves like that lot of routes are their on IT but railways give speed to them. Now this route is in Doubling process which may reduce some more curves with realignment of previous line also I hope.. but SWR need to give high speed for this route which is not happening..
Trains are very less on that route. We need trains. Lets see what happens. I am having train for that route in my upcoming list.
