The train is maintained in excellent condition in sleeper by OBH staff
You can expect clean washrooms, no cockroaches and 100 KMPH run throughout the journey.
The onboard TTE and RPF strictly prohibit any ticketless passenger in sleeper coaches in this train.

tatkal ticket without hassle

So in this trip I'll be including my planning of booking the tickets in this train (02106)

So on 23rd I decided to go Mumbai for my office work so I checked the avaibility of the tickets in trains like 02810 Hwh Mumbai Mail and other trains to Mumbai. that Train No. 02146 PURI-LTT is Cancelled. I was shocked. Then I remember that I can get ticket in NGP-CSMT Duronto easily but then I searched train from Gondia to CST and I found that tickets were availabe in 02106 G-CSMT Vidarbha Express [I have heard from many railfans that this train is very well maintained train]. So I made my mind to travel in this train and booked the ticket that time only for date 28-07-2021.

So the journey date came and I reached Gondia by 02069 Raigarh Gonida Janshatabdi Express from Champa.

The 02106 Gondia-CSMT Vidarbha Express was standing at PF5 at Gondia Jn. As soon as I entered in the coach B3, it was very well maintained, floors were clean and shine, washrooms were super cleaned. What I have listened about this train was exactly same I was witnessing. I was praying that this cleanliness should be maintained till CSMT. At Gondia very few people was there in my coach and I was expecting that the coach will be full at Nagpur and later happened the same.

As always I was standing near the door before Nagpur Arrival to capture the DIAMOND CROSSING but since this train arrives at PF8 of NGP Jn. so we bypassed the DIAMOND CROSSING, this was the first time when I bypassed the DIAMOND CROSSING.

I was trying to order pizza from Dominos App but it was not allowing me to book so I downloaded IRCTC's office FOOD ON TRACK and from there I ordered the pizza and it arrived at the platform 8. Crowd boarded form NGP and after few minutes luckily I got to capture an overtake of Nagpur's MAHA Metro (Video Link: click here

Then train halted at many stations with a delay of 10-15 minutes as soon as crowd was increasing in the train I was thinking that now the train will get dirty but it didn't happen. Train was running aggressively and I was enjoying the Greenery Outside by having a pizza inside the train.

Then we reached Badnera Jn almost 20minutes before time. Since I didn't check the Locomotive of my train so at Badnera I went to check the Locomotive and it was AJNI WAP7 #30296.

And before Murtizapur the Onboard housekeepers came to me for taking feedback. Since they did an awesome work to keep this train clean, there was no doubt in my mind to give them any less rating.

After that the train arrived Akola Jn. 5 minutes Before time. Then Bhusawal also Before time of atleast 15min. In BSL I purchased Idlis, as so far after NGP I Didnt get any good food so I purchased Idli for ₹40 they were so yummy. It was unexpected that at 23:15hrs you'll get Idlis, even that shop owner was making dosa too.

Near charging points it was written that power supply will be suspended from 23:00hrs to 06:00hrs but the power supply was there whole night. I want to tell you one more thing is that while charging your phone in 02106 Vidarbha Express please don't use it because your phone will work wired if you plugged in and try to use it. So its better to stop using your phone while charing in especially in this train (click here

Then early morning I woke up at Igatpuri and had a sip of tea while enjoying the rainfall. Later I deboarded this train at THANE where this train arrived with a delay of 2mins.

My last comment on this train is that 'This is one of the best ICF Train(runs approx. 1000kms) in this LHB Era.

Good train for GIMB Passengers to NGP/R/SBP/BBS.
1.Problems-
A. Is a weekly train with OK timings at Ahemdabad.
B.Tickets for Gandhidham/Vadodara/Surat passengers to Nagpur/Raipur/Sambalpur / Bhubaneshwar are NOT easily avaliable. Book them 4 month in advance.

Car not avaliable (However E-Catering avaliable at Nandurbar and Sambalpur).
D.Bad timings at Raipur (After Speedup in next TAAG it may be speeded up to reach Raipur by 0100 HRS)
2.Advantages-
A. Fastest connection between Surat-Bhubaneshwar
B.Cleanliness is just superb and Coaches are also newly made.
C.Rush of unreserved passengers is less in SL.
D.In return direction it covers a good amount of delay. (However 12993 reaches its destination delayed by 1.5 HRS).
3.Tips-
A.Carry your own food as on board vendors are also less
B. Book tickets 4 months in advance as RAC Clarence is also difficult in this train (Personal Experience)
C. Passengers could use E-Catering(served at Nandurbar)
D. Reaches its destination (as 12993) with a delay of 1.5 HRS. Return train is little bit good and a good delay coverer.
