Get down here to visit Sri Lakshmi Venkataramanaswamy temple which is around 500 meters from railway station on the banks of Hemavathi river. Also, Bettada Ranganathaswamy temple is located on Hassan - Mysore Highway at Halekote which is around 4 kms from railway station. This temple is located on a hillock and now road is made up to temple which offers a scenic view of Hemavathi river and agricultural fields adjoining it. Autos are available from railway station.
