If you desire to go to the outskirts of city don't leave junction premises while dark after 10.....even if you see modes such as auto, jeeps.etc;

Ald much safer then other citys if u residents of ald then no problem going home but u residents of out side then u can wait till early morning first bus or vehicle

Going far your Tip is correct but in city limit it us wrong because in night 3 am I roaming Allahabad very safely and I m also aware that who come ALD to go far from ALD he don't start his journey towards his destinAtion
I too was instructed not to go to Manauri/Bamhrauli from the station at night. Its risky.
Need to go from ald to coi at 12 midnight to catch BJU-G Exp. Can anyone suggest any conveyance plz

Location is: While coming from CNB side and going towards ALD , its on the left side just at the ALD outer signal (Once Naini is crossed reach to the left hand side of train).
All kinds of E Locos are available on exhibition here ranging from WAP 7 , WAP 5 to WAP 4 and sometimes if lucky enough, you could even capture MGS WAM also.
Beware of railfanning on yamuna bridge. Their are many children 14-20 years on bridge , if train passes bridge slowly they target people talking on phone near windows or door .
