Chalo, Ek review iska bhi..
Travel Date - 6 June 2022
Class - 1A
To start with,
1. Punctuality - On this route 95-98% times you can blindly believe on trains (but do keep...
more... buffer incase of connecting trains, who knows when any route disruption happens). 5-10 mins delay at Kota, Bhawani Mandi but before time at Vadodara, Surat, Mumbai Central. 5/5
2. Cleanliness - The train is well maintained. But when it comes to cleanliness, it is bit compromised. Thats because at Jaipur it gets Platform return in 2 -2.5 hrs. AC coaches are cleaned but still not that good. Sleepers, only toilets get cleaned at Jaipur. Unless it gets more time at Jaipur, its gonna remain same. OBHS cleaned the cabin once in evening near Bhawani Mandi. 2.5/5
3. Food - The pantry food is very bad. Priced at 120 (though legal rate is 80, if you want to pay 80, just ask for bill). Dal, rice, chapati, sabji, pickle. Dal is watery, sabji taste was not that good.. Infact best to avoid it. Order through ecatering at Kota, Nagda, Ratlam. You may be paying just 20-30 extra (for same items) but you'll get better quality. 0/5
4. Seat availabilty - Runs packed through out the year. Book well in advance in all classes. 1st ac has chances that WL 2 (on DOJ) wont confirm. General coaches carry 2 -2.5 times its capacity. Sleeper too had its galleries filled.
please wait...Translate to EnglishAlright, let's do a review of this train. Travel Date - 6 June 2022. Class - 1A. So here's what I think:
1. Punctuality - Most of the time, this train is on time (about 95-98% of the time). But just to be safe, keep some extra time for connecting trains, you never know when there might be some route disruption. The train is usually delayed by 5-10 mins at Kota and Bhawani Mandi, but surprisingly arrives early at Vadodara, Surat, and Mumbai Central. I'd give it a 5/5 for punctuality.
2. Cleanliness - The train is maintained pretty well, but when it comes to cleanliness, it's a bit compromised. The problem is that it only gets around 2-2.5 hours for platform return at Jaipur. The AC coaches are cleaned, but not that great. Only the toilets are cleaned at Jaipur. Unless it gets more time there, it's gonna stay the same. The cabin was cleaned by OBHS once in the evening near Bhawani Mandi. I'd rate cleanliness as 2.5/5.
3. Food - The pantry food is terrible. They overprice it at 120 bucks (even though the legal rate is 80 bucks, ask for a bill if you wanna pay 80). They serve dal, rice, chapati, sabzi, and pickle. The dal is watery and the sabzi doesn't taste that good either. Honestly, it's best to avoid it. Instead, order through ecatering at Kota, Nagda, and Ratlam. It might cost you an extra 20-30 bucks, but at least you'll get better quality food. I'd rate the pantry food 0/5.
4. Seat availability - This train is always packed throughout the year. So make sure to book well in advance in all classes. Even 1st AC has a chance that WL 2 (on DOJ) won't get confirmed. The general coaches are always overcrowded, carrying 2-2.5 times their capacity. Even the sleeper class has its galleries filled.
That's about it for the review!
