Freight trains run in this section mainly Iron ore export to Steel industries ,No passenger train service in this section .
*RE work yet start here ,however they hv dumped OHE poles at station building in pic.

11-12 old line & rly quarters
13-15 dead line of TNGL -RNJP line .. now looks like not in use 2 kms away from main station .

1) RE works has not been started for Food Corporation of India, Ballari siding

OHE Poles were observed adjacent Ballari Thermal Power Station (BTPS) siding untill it will runs parallel with Hosapete line. But OHE poles or foundations were not there after diversion from Hosapete line
4) Wiring of entire Toranagallu station has been completed
🔸Toranagallu Junction - Ranajitpura section
5) SSP work is under progress
6) Wiring has been started from Toranagallu end for short distance
7) OHE poles with insulators were observed after Vaddu Level Crossing
8) RE works have not been started for Toranagallu - Bannihatti JSW siding and other branch lines which goes inside JSW steel plant

2) Railway line visible from Ballari - Toranagallu - Sandur - Kudligi road before Vaddu level crossing is siding towards JSW steel plant and OHE poles were not there adjacent this line
⚫Toranagallu - Ranajitpura line becomes visible from Ballari - Toranagallu - Sandur - Kudligi road after Vaddu level crossing
⚫Aligned OHE poles were observed adjacent Toranagallu - Ranajitpura line in between Vaddu level crossing and Vidyanagar township
3) & 4) Land leveling done between Vaddu level crossing and LC No.5 is for road not for doubling of Toranagallu - Ranajitpura line (confirmed by railway staff)
5) to 15) Aligned OHE poles were observed adjacent Toranagallu - Ranajitpura line (2nd line) in between Vidyanagar township and LC No.5 i.e., from 5.6 km to 6.5 km
⏺️1st line seen in these photos is a siding from Bannihatti to JSW steel plant (confirmed by railway staff) and OHE foundations/poles were not there adjacent this line
