Tamna Station of Chandil -Purulia Section of South
Eastern Railway’s Adra Division a loaded truck
breaking the locked gate boom of a level crossing
gate and collided...

with a good trains resulting to
derailment of Engine and 11 wagons blocking Up
and Down lines of this section, effecting the normal
train services.
No long distance Mail/Express trains have been
cancelled. Those long distance trains which were
supposed to run via Purulia – Chandil route are
being diverted via alternate route i.e. Purulia-
Kotsila- Muri- Chandil.
However some short distance Intercity Express
trains have been cancelled along with some
passenger trains. Few trains are short terminated at
various stations.
