FINALLY THE 1000th UPLOAD!! A feat that I had never ever dreamed of achieving even two years back. Truly life is too mysterious to predict anything in advance.
My first upload was done on August 8, 2010.
My fifth upload was done on August 22, 2011.
And my 1000th upload is done on September 28, 2013.
So on this auspicious upload, I decided to upload the longest parallel action that I have ever witnessed in my life. And that too a departure video from the auspicious city of Varanasi. A parallel action between two mighty diesel lords GD WDM- 2B and LKO WDM- 3D (with a piggybacking dead MGS WDM- 3A).
On a fresh morning of March 2013, our 20 minutes late running 55122 Manduadih (MUV)- Bhatni (BTT) Passenger departs from Varanasi (Cantt.) Junction with a Gonda (D) WDM- 2B in lead. And almost simultaneously, the 10 minutes late running 53362 Varanasi (BSB)- Barkakana (BRKA) also departs with an offlink 11232 LKO (Lucknow) WDM-3D and a dead 17958 MGS WDM- 3A in lead. After clearing the points, the other Passenger crawls ahead of us only to fall behind due to a slowdown. Meanwhile, taking advantage of the slowdown, our Passenger train takes the lead in the race. But the WDM- 3D, in a quest to prove who is superior, accelerates quickly, belches thick smoke, and easily overtakes us to have the last laugh. The WDM- 3D with the puny rake was no match for our WDM- 2B with 20 coaches load. Do note that our train had 8 sleeper coaches, which were being transferred from one place to another. The Barkakana Passenger headed towards Mughal Sarai, while we headed for Varanasi City.
The Varanasi- Barkakana Passenger follows the Varanasi- Mughal Sarai- Dehri-on-Sone- Garhwa Road- DaltonGanj- Barwadih- Tori- Barkakana route.
The Manduadih- Bhatni Passenger follows the Manduadih- Varanasi- Varanasi City- Mau- Bhatni route.

We 7, ie, PKV sir, BG- da, Sabyasachi- da, MG- da, DB- da, Arkya and myself were waiting for 12358 KOAA Exp from 4th March. At BSB, the announcement starts a long time before. Down Himgiri's announcement was done for 90 minutes while for our train it was nearly hour.

berths in S5. Arkya had warned me earlier that I'll not be allowed to sleep as he'll join me at my SLB (63). I told him, "If I get asleep, wake me up."
He answered, "Forget that. I'll not even let you sleep".
Me too wanted to sit whole the night and do railfanning.
The train entered on PF 3 around 1.30 am and we boarded.
57- 60 and 63 was for us. 56 was for DB. When we entered, there were some people sitting on the berths who left those seeing us. 64 was exchanged with 56 and PKV claimed that. 57- 60 were taken by MG- da, BG- da, Sabyasachi-da and DB- da respectively. It took a lot of time to settle down and all fell asleep soon apart from Arkya and myself.
