Looks like WCL region is the least demanding region in overall India when it comes to railway facilities.
It is giving lot of money to IR in terms of coal transportation but in return it is not getting anything.

not long enough to accommodate exp trains)
No other amenities at station.
Only one daily express train(Nandigram)...not a single unreserved passenger train...
MPS of only 25KMPH for MJRI-WANI-PMKT-ADB route...
No direct train from CD/WANI to PUNE...or any other important cities in India...

IR given halts to many trains here but forgot to lengthen platform. Trains stop here twice so that passengers can board/alight here.
CR earns lot of revenue from Wani station through coal transportation(major town of western coal fields) but forgot to improve passenger amenities.
Majri - Wani - Pimpalkhuti is the most neglected stretch of CR.
Need to start passenger train between Adilabad...
