This can be made possible with a rake sharing arrangement similar to the one of 16305/16308/16306/16307 done at Kannur. (12076 arrives CAN afternoon - returns as 12081 next day morning. 12082 arrives CAN midnight - returns as 12075 next day noon). Maintenance can still be done at TVC itslef. If this arrangement is made, 12081/82 can be made daily thereby connecting north Kerala better to state capital.

Noमाता वैष्णो देवी जाने वाले मंगलौर, रोहतक ,जींद, नरवाना के रेल यात्रियो के लिए बुरी खबर रेलवे ने गाड़ी संख्या:- 16687/88 मैंगलूर सैंट्रल-श्री माता वैष्णो देवी कटरा-मैंगलूर सैंट्रल नवयुग एक्सप्रेस को हमेशा के लिए बंद कर दिया और रेलवे ने इसका कारण स्लीप कोच को बताया है जबकि नवयुग एक्सप्रेस हमेशा से स्वतंत्र रूप से चलती थी। 1990 में मंगलौर से जम्मू तवी के मध्य शुरू किया गया था। लेकिन रेलवे द्वारा नवयुग एक्सप्रेस को बंद करने के कारण अब
