कटनी-सिंगरौली रेल लाइन के दोहरीकरण को लेकर प्री-एनआई और एनआई कार्यो के कारण जबलपुर- सिंगरौली के मध्य कई महत्वपूर्ण ट्रेनों का संचालन निरस्त किया गया है। पश्चिम-मध्य रेल के जारी नोटिफिकेशन के तहत नौ फरवरी से 24 फरवरी तक 11651 जबलपुर-सिंगरौली एक्सप्रेस, दस फरवरी से 25 फरवरी तक 11652 सिंगरौली- जबलपुर एक्सप्रेस का संचालन बंद रहेगा। दस फरवरी, 14 फरवरी, 17 फरवरी और 21 फरवरी को 22165 भोपाल- सिंगरौली एक्सप्रेस तथा 13 फरवरी, 15 फरवरी, 20 फरवरी और 22 फरवरी को 22166 सिंगराौली-भोपाल एक्सप्रेस नही चलेगी। 11 फरवरी और 18 फरवरी को सिंगरौली-निजामु एक्सप्रेस नही चलेगी तथा 12 व 19 फरवरी को निजामुद्दी सिंगरौली एक्सप्रेस का संचालन नही होगा। इस मार्ग से गुजरने वाली भोपाल-हावड़ा आदि भी निरस्त की गयी है।
