The two were caught after a joint investigation by the local police and the NIA. They were charged under Sections 61, 62, and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita. The arrest comes shortly after three trackmen were arrested in Surat for sabotaging a track near the Kim station on September 21st. These trackmen were motivated by a desire for recognition and extended duty hours.
