trains arriving from Chandigarh to be extended to Daulatpur station. The washing line is part of a larger development and upgrade project at the station, which includes the extension of the railway line to Pathankot and Jammu via Talwara. The project is expected to cost over 43 crores and will enhance the station's infrastructure, facilitating more train services to Himachal Pradesh. Currently, trains arriving at Daulatpur Chowk have to travel approximately 70 kilometers to Nangal Dam station for washing, which incurs significant cost and time for the Railways.

Ye washing line station ke bada development and upgrade project ka hissa hai, jisme Talwara se hota hua Pathankot aur Jammu tak railway line ka extension bhi shamil hai. Project ke liye 43 crore se zyada ki cost aane ki ummeed hai, aur isse station ke infrastructure me sudhar hoga, jisse Himachal Pradesh ko zyada train services milenge. Phir bhi, Daulatpur Chowk pe aane wali trains ko dhooi ke liye lagbhag 70 kilometer dur Nangal Dam station tak jaana padta hai, jisse Railways ko bahut zyada cost aur time lagta hai.
