General Manager Central Railway chairs 125th ZRUCC Meeting

Amrit Bharat Station project, suburban train punctuality, and the need for new trains. Members offered suggestions, and the General Manager assured them that these would be considered and implemented after careful deliberation. Yadav highlighted key achievements of Central Railway, including the introduction of 7 Vande Bharat trains, running 249 special trains in FY 2024-25, completion of 348 km of doubling/new lines/multi-tracking in FY 2023-24, a record freight loading of 89.25 million tonnes in FY 2023-24, and the inclusion of 96 stations in the Amrit Station Scheme. He also mentioned improvements in safety, including the closing of 68 LC gates in FY 2023-24 and the installation of 4432 CCTV cameras in suburban EMU coaches. Yadav also discussed plans for future projects, including the construction of new coaching complexes at various locations and the addition of 28 escalators and 33 lifts during the current financial year. He emphasized the importance of suggestions from ZRUCC members in improving passenger services.

Members ne apne suggestions diye, aur General Manager ne unhe assure kiya ki inko carefully consider karenge aur implement karenge. Yadav ne Central Railway ki key achievements highlight ki, jaise ki 7 Vande Bharat trains ka introduction, FY 2024-25 mein 249 special trains chalana, FY 2023-24 mein 348 km doubling/new lines/multi-tracking ka kaam poora karna, FY 2023-24 mein 89.25 million tonnes ka record freight loading, aur Amrit Station Scheme mein 96 stations ko include karna.
