Ambala Division is also allocated approximately ₹2666.5 crore for upgrades across eight rail sections. An additional ₹143.38 crore will be spent on improving facilities, including the construction of railway underbridges and overbridges, and the construction of Chandigarh railway station, which will cost around ₹93 crore. Haryana has received a total allocation of ₹3383 crore for railway development projects, with the Ambala Division receiving ₹2809.88 crore. New rail lines are also being planned, including Nangal Dam–Talwara (₹500 crore), Chandigarh–Baddi (₹300 crore), Bhanupli–Bilaspur–Beeri (₹1700 crore), and Rajpura–Bathinda (₹400 crore).

Haryana ko railway development projects ke liye total ₹3383 crore aavnteen hua hai, jismein Ambala Division ko ₹2809.88 crore mila hai.
