PMRDA will begin testing and trial runs after the initial delivery. The 23.5 km Line 3 includes 23 stations like Hinjewadi, Wipro Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, Wakad Flyover, Balewadi Stadium, Vidyapeeth Chowk, AIR Kendra, and Shivajinagar Court. The project is a public-private partnership between PMRDA and Pune IT City Metro Rail Limited, a joint venture of Tata Group and Siemens.
