Preliminary assessment se pata chalta hai ki India ke 40 cities mein water metro system implement ki ja sakti hai. Kochi Water Metro abhi 9 terminals pe chal raha hai aur iska plan hai ki ise 38 terminals aur 78 boats ke saath expand kiya jaaye. Is holiday season mein Fort Kochi mein bhi service shuru hone wali hai. System bahut successful raha hai, iske shuru hone ke six months mein hi isme 1 million se zyada logon ne travel kiya. Future mein plan hai ki island destinations pe tourist ke liye cultural programs aur entertainment options bhi add kiye jaaye, jinko Water Metro connect karta hai.
