The first section of C2, covering 7.4 km from Chikkabanavara to Yeshwanthpur, is expected to be operational by December 2025. The project will utilize unique U-girders for the elevated section, reducing construction time and improving aesthetics. Plans are also underway to connect BSRP with the Peripheral Railway Network and extend it to satellite towns.
