Nice one, attaching and detaching those slip/link coaches takes a lot of time and effort. The CAG's audit report says that important routes are getting messed up and trains are wasting time because of all the traffic at major stations, especially the main hubs. There are a bunch of benefits to fixing this mess: increasing line capacity, more trains, more money, faster speeds, and less work for the staff. But Indian Railways should figure out something else for the passengers who are screwed over when a service gets canceled.
