To offer the "cheapest and the best AC travel in the world", Indian Railways is all set to roll out 806 air conditioned three-tier economy class...
** At last reports about the much awaited fare fixation of AC3Eco class have started coming up.
** Surprisingly, it reported that "some of these (AC3Eco) coaches are being utilised in the New Delhi Duronto and the Jaipur Duronto in Western Railway, Dehradun-Prayagraj Express, Prayagraj-Jaipur Express in NCR".

But according to earlier news. IR not going to reduce 3AC price rather they said 3AC Economy class would have same fare as current 3AC class and the fare of current 3AC class would be raised.
May be this can happen. As can be seen by Introducing TEJAS rakes in Mumbai rajdhani they increased the fares.
Above all IR wants to increase its revenue by increasing no of AC coaches in every train which is justified.
