* LHB maint at Durg depo is a good news and is an indication of professional approach of IR.
* Otherwise, announcement of BSP-Firozpur Antyoday(LHB rake) gives a hint that LHB maint. facilities may not be available at Durg. Else there is no logic to start the train from Bilaspur (Population 5 lacs) & deny the facility of this long distance SECR train to the top 2 cities of Chhatisgarh i.e. Raipur (Capital with population 14lacs) & Bhilai-Durg (population 12lacs).
* BSP Firozpur Antyoday is a strange train. For 1530 km...
more... long journey only Bilaspur/ Katni/ Sagour-Delhi-Bhatinda/Firozpur are worth mentioning. This train shall do a non-stop 631 km journey from Sagour to Delhi Safdarjung in 10:35 hrs @ 60 kmph only, and shall not stop at stations like JHS, GWL, AGC during the long run!!
* This train is likely to struggle for a respectable patronage with only BSP being a potential station with Katni & Sagour which are a good 320kms & 506 kms away from BSP respectively. Extension to Raipur-Bhilai-Durg by just 148 kms could have given a lot passengers to the proposed train.
