This is good news for Belagavi as the Railways which plan to double and also electrify the Pune to Londa route will shift the existing Goods...
SWR arranged very good move for Belgam City.More trains may be terminated from Belham.
Wasn't the new line from Bagalkot to Kudachi or is it Sambra???
I think the pitlines at BGM can be built even before shifting of goods yard is completed.

Bagalkot to Kudachi is sanctioned line. it passes through BGK-Lokapur-Mudhol-KUD.. Further splits to this line, Lokapur is identified as junction with two new routes and a new line to Dharwad via Savdatti, and another one to Belagavi via Yargatti are survey completed, now this line joins to sambra. Both routes waiting for sanctioning.
