that means something wrong in this news.
In news
"Hence, if you use your debit/credit card or Internet Banking to book any train ticket (including Tatkal), there won’t be any service fee of Rs 30, which is normally levied for using IRCTC’s website for booking tickets".
It shld b PRS not IRCTC.

I never said using debit/credit card is online banking however paying through card is considered to be oine 'payment' coz the swapping machine is connected to internet.

It is only at PRS counters where we swipe credit/debit cards. Rs 30 levied by railways is removed. In IRCTC portal such waiver is not there. Rs.23 for second class and Rs 46 is charged for AC class.I feel IRCTC also should waive this. The news headlone is misleading

even i saw the news that it is PRS ticket. But today morning, Ministry of Railway shared a post in FB saying, IRCTC also dropped service charge. I didn't go into the article. But the link they shared had heading like this
