Third line will not increase no. of passenger trains but only goods train. SECR doesn't even care about passengers. No special trains, no garib rath, no AC Express, no duronto, no shatabdi - the only zone in IR which doesn't has any one of the above trains. No start-end connectivity to Mumbai/Howrah even after being on the main route of Mumbai-Howrah.
its sad that bilaspur raipur dont have dedicated trains as you said... but it is fault of indian railway and not secr

how come its not a fault of SECR....SECR has to push IR for trains to specific destinations...as far as I understand ...SECR will propose that it needs a train to specif destinations as per demand in the stations falling under its jurisdiction on the basis of which IR will decide....all the zones except SECR have dedicated trains for Mumbai...all the zones except SECR have either Duronto or GaribRath or Shatabdi or AC superfast trains under them. Moreover all the zones run special trains during Festivals...I haven't seen any long distant special trains by SECR.
