Pitapuram - Kakinada - Kotipalli - Narsapur railway line is the lifeline for entire Konaseema.One major problem of this area, which is long pending and will remain as issue for another five years also: was railway line between Kotipalli-Narsapur which remains a myth and not becoming a reality even after one decade of its foundation. The initiative taken by Amalapuram MP Harsha Kumar too has proved futile and moreover, the railway authorities have shifted the Deputy Chief Engineer’s (Technical) office from Amalapuram, sending negative signals for the proposed line.
