Ye toh secr ko sochna chaiye....ya toh freight bhaga le ya passanger train....3-4 hour late sahi ho sakta but itna late....n ye log extra rake rakhte
Agree, 2-3 trips ke liye cancel karke poora schedule hi streamline kar do (of other trains too). Freights ko koi nahi rok sakta, usko rokna aur badi aafat mol lena hoga. Baat kamaai ki nahi hai, needs ki hai. In divisions mein efficient experienced officers ko lagaya jaye aur jald se jald JSG - NGP 4th line ka kaam shuru kare. Plus alternative double line routes mein 3rd line ka bhi.
Added Dhenkanal you could have suggested in peaceful way and for your information Dhenkanal is not better than Angul
Dhenkanal railway station will be bigger than Angul after redevelopment & some new trains will be skipped Angul because Angul railway station have 3 platforms only pf no 3 down line train PF no 3 always choked by fright train & no space available also Dhenkanal railway station will be get 2 more platforms total 4 platforms after redevelopment
One more rake for Azad Hind is need of hour

Since you were travelling towards Mumbai, so from where exactly does the problem start ? Does it start after Jharsuguda ? Are these simply stopped at wayside stations for a long time ? Unable to figure out its been more than a year and still no change
If you want to know in details then let me tell you.
On my day of journey the train started from HWH at 6:00 which means a delay of 15 minutes. At TATA it was 30 minutes late. Now I boarded from TATA. The train did stop only once till CKP but it was not maintaining MPS throughout. It was doing 130 very rarely. CKP it was 1 hour late. Had a fair run till ROU but post ROU till JSG and till BSP it was halted multiple number of times. Post BSP till Gondia run was good. From Gondia to NGP. Khatam. Tata Bye Bye.

No wonder SECR is right at the bottom for punctuality. Surprisingly saw a clipping from a news paper (Hindi) which mentions that railway authorities of SECR are mentioning delay caused from other zones when trains enter SECR . It cant be more funnier than this.
Yes it is actually running approximately 24 hrs late from last about one year in both directions, getting Rescheduled, sometimes even I saw Press Release of Re-Rescheduled also.
