Posting second part of the trip
I reached CNB @ 01:46 exactly by 12560.My parents who were supposed to be there by 22:00 previous day were not yet there .the reason being late running of MEMU between Lko and CNB
Their MEMU departed Lko exactly at 22:00 as against to its time 20:20 and took four and a half hours to reach kanpur ,to do 73 kms at approx. 15 kmph avg facing almost 10 overtakes.thats just preposterous and the best part is time taken between unnao and CNB was 25 minutes.yes...
more... you heard it right
It means 4 hours for 55kms. I mean just wow

So they reached CNB around 02:30
We had to catch 12802 purushottam from CNB to Puri
We had sometime so we went to the waiting room
The upper class waiting room at cnb was brimming with people becoz of 12801,14055 being horribly late due to construction work at ALD which will highly affect us too but about that later
So I was there sitting in the waiting room constantly monitoring vthe trains movement
The train was running like hell and before time too
It OVERTOOK Patna Kota exp and avadh EXPRESS and crossed pnk at 04:00 so I went with my family to the allotted platform no. 5
JP ALD was standing there after that prayag Raj came on platform 6 .JP ald departed PARALLELY while the anvt rewa entered no. 4 but now to my surprise avadh came on pf 6 after PR departed
Where was my train the great purushottam
Then Kota Patna arrived on 7 and NDLS muv arrived on pf 5
Not a single train arrived on the pf it was originally allotted
"Platform no. Of *** train has been changed from ** to ** .kindly move slowly using the bridge " was the constant announcement
I thought about how much ill used are the resources here and how much ill management is here
BTW where the f was my train??
After passing 3 trains that were behind it finally the announcement was there my train will come at pf 4 I had no problems as those are adjacent ones so we just had to change sides
The train came in at 05:45 and departed at 06:00
I knew that becoz of so many trains departing before my train there will be so much congestion till ALD
And I was absolutely correct.

I got to CNB @ 01:46 on train 12560. My folks were supposed to be there by 22:00 the day before, but they were MIA. Turns out the MEMU train from Lko to CNB was movin' at a snail's pace. Left Lko at 22:00 instead of the scheduled 20:20, took a whopping 4.5 hours for just 73 kms at like 15 kmph average speed. Crazy, right? It took them 25 minutes to cover the last 55 kms. Like, seriously, 4 hours for 55 kms, damn! But hey, forget about it. They finally showed up around 02:30.
We had to catch train 12802 Purushottam from CNB to Puri. Had some time, so we chilled at the waiting room. It was packed with folks 'cause some other trains were running super late due to construction work at ALD. Not lookin' good for our train, but we'll get to that later. So, I just sat there, keepin' an eye on the trains. Our train was killin' it, even earlier than expected. It passed other trains on the way and breezed past PNK by 04:00. So, we headed to platform 5 with fam.
Saw JP ALD on one side, then Prayag Raj on 6. JP ALD started movin' as Prayag Raj came in, and ANVT Rewa pulled up at 4. But surprise! Avadh showed up at 6 after Prayag Raj left. I'm like waitin', where's my Purushottam at though? Next, Kota Patna arrived on 7 and NDLS MUV on 5, no train showed up at its original platform. Kept hearin' announcements about platform changes. Smh, such poor resource management here. Where on earth was my train at?
After 3 trains, they finally announced that mine would be at 4. No biggie, 'cause they're close together. Pulled in by 05:45 and whoosh, we were off by 06:00. I knew there'd be a mess due to all the trains goin' before mine, and yep, it was chaos till ALD.
And as predicted, it was.

Usne Patna Kota exp aur Avadh Express ko bhi peeche chhod diya aur PNK ko 04:00 baje cross kiya isliye main apni family ke saath allotted platform no. 5 par chala gaya
JP ALD wahan khadi thi fir prayag Raj aayi platform 6 par. JP ALD nikal gayi jab PARALLELY ANVT Rewa no. 4 me aayi lekin ab meri surprise thi Avadh platform 6 par aayi jab PR nikal gayi

Piche peeche 3 trains ko overtake karke jab finally announcement aayi ki meri train platform 4 par aayegi, maine kuch problem nahi ki kyunki woh adjacent the toh sirf side change karna tha
Train 05:45 baje aayi aur 06:00 baje chali gayi
Maine pehle hi soch liya tha ke mere train se aage bahut sari trains chal chuki hongi, ALD tak congestion jarur hogi!
